Nominator's project description
| Professor Svampa is one of the most important scientists of social science theories in the Global South. Her work on socio-ecological transformation, sustainable development, and gender inequality has shaped research on these topics far beyond the Argentine and the Latin American context. In Germany, she will improve the study on the current global problems of sustainability and climate change in a productive North-South dialogue and create impulses for new international cooperative action. |
